Associate Director/Director of Content

Reporting to the Director of Radio, the Associate Director is the director of content and the chief operating officer and second in command for the statewide service of Wisconsin Public Radio and is responsible for overseeing administrative and content activities. Leads the approximately 50-member content staff of WPR's networks, programs and websites (including three nationally-distributed programs). This includes providing leadership to the WPR content planning team, and creating and instituting strategies consistent with the goals, best practices and editorial policies of WPR As a member of the Senior Management Team, assists the Director with long range strategic planning and implementation, policy development, organizational review, personnel planning and employee relations issues.
